Dukes Place 16th at NCAA Regional

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Duquesne men's cross country team posted a 16th-place finish at the 2017 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championship on Friday hosted by Lehigh University at the Goodman Cross Country Course.

The Dukes recorded a score of 456 at the event. Princeton placed first with a score of 57 followed by Navy second with 109 and Villanova third with 115.

Junior Cordon Louco (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) led Duquesne with a 47th-place finish, touring the 10k course in 31:25.2.

Senior Rico Galassi (Dickson City, Pa./Holy Cross) was next to cross the finish line for the Dukes in 51st place with a mark of 31:29.9.
