PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne men's cross country team competed at the 2017 Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday morning at the Schenley Oval.
The Dukes posted a 10th-place finish at the event with a score of 268. Shippensburg won the meet with a score of 24 followed by Carnegie Mellon second and Ashland third.
Freshman Casey Conboy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) paced Duquesne in 27th place with a time of 27:29.0 on the 8k course. Frazee Sutphen (Larksville, Pa./Holy Redeemer) finished 35th at 27:50.0 followed by sophomore Noah Ball (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) in 47th with a mark of 28:17.1.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Penn State Invitational at 11:30 a.m. ET in University Park, Pa.
