Duquesne's men's cross country team finished third of seven teams at The University at Buffalo Stampede Invitational Friday morning in New York.

Junior Rico Galassi paced the Dukes and finished fifth overall in the 82-runner field with a time of 24:49.0. he was followed by sophomore Christian Kazanjian who placed 10th in 25:05.1, sophomore Cordon Louco who was 16th in 25:27.3 and senior Dino Andrade who came in 17th in 25:28.4.

Today's runners will return to action on Friday, Sept. 30 as they compete in the Notre Dame Invitational while a handful of DU runners will compete at St. Vincent, tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 17.
