Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth at Atlantic 10 Championship

The Duquesne University men's cross country team secured sixth in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships Saturday morning at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va. Duquesne finished with 156 points total.

Leading the pack for the Dukes was sophomore Rico Galassi in 25:07.0 in 18th place overall. Next in 26th place, at 25:15.0 was freshman Hunter Wharrey.

Senior Aaron Wilkinson took third place for the Dukes, 34th overall at the 25:20.3 mark. 2.1 seconds later, senior Joe O'Such crossed the line in 25:24.5. Senior Bob Gasior finished in 25:29.1 in 41st place. Saint Joseph's placed first with 77 points, among the 126 runners and 14 A-10 teams. Taking second and third place respectively were UMass then Davidson.

Up next the Dukes will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in Princeton, NJ on November 13th.
