Oct. 29, 2015 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-District Release 
PITTSBURGH - Defender Colin Phillips, who is currently taking classes toward his doctor of physical therapy degree, was named to the 2015 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-DistrictTM 2 Men's Soccer Team released today. The awards are presented annually to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
Phillips, who has completed his undergraduate degree in biology, has a 3.92 overall grade point average. On the field, the Ottawa, Ontario native leads the Atlantic 10 in goals (10), points (24), goals/g. (0.67) and points per game (1.60). Nationally, he ranks 10th in total goals, 12th in total points and 13th in both goals and points per game. His 10 goals currently rank fourth on DU's all-time single-season list. He is the 16th player in program history to earn Academic All-DistrictTM honors.
First-team Academic All-DistrictTM honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
