PRINCETON, N.J. - The Duquesne University men's cross country team took 10th place at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. The Dukes led the pack ahead of Rutgers, Saint Joseph's, Princeton and eight other teams, for a total of 21 teams in the 8k race.
Crossing the line first for the Red & Blue in 48th place was redshirt sophomore Rico Galassi with a time of 25:03.1, competing against 181 runners.
Next, taking 60th place was freshman Hunter Wharrey in 25:12.1. Closely following was junior Dino Andrade, taking 61st in 25:12.6.
Senior Joe O'Such finished at 25:17.3 in 69th place, and sophomore Christian Kazanjian took 71st place in 25:19.0.
Duquesne will have a weekend off of racing before the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in Richmond on Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m.
