PITTSBURGH - For the 16th time in the past 17 years, the Duquesne men's soccer program has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for its outstanding academic performance with a Team Academic Award.

The NSCAA annually recognizes college and high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. A total of 904 soccer teams (319 men, 586 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year.

The DU men's soccer program has been recognized more than any other Atlantic 10 program since the award was instituted in 1996. For a complete all-time list of NCAA intercollegiate programs who have been honored by the NSCAA, click here.

Duquesne was one of 228 schools - from all levels of NCAA play - to have both its men's and women's teams honored.
