The Duquesne University men's soccer team was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the NSCAA Team Academic Award. The Dukes were selected for the 14th time in the past 15 years.

The award was given by the NSCAA to any college that posted a 3.00 cumulative grade point average or higher during the previous academic year. Duquesne had a cumulative team GPA of 3.18 during the 2012-13 academic year.

In addition, senior Simon Gomez was named to the NSCAA's Scholar All-East Region Honorable Mention Team.
