Sixth-year men's soccer coach Jake Ouimet today announced the 2011 schedule. The Dukes will open play on Friday, August 26 as they host Niagara at 7:30 pm on Rooney Field in the first of nine home contests for the Red and Blue. This marks the earliest home-opener in program history.

The following weekend DU will play host to the Duquesne Tournament as it plays Valparaiso on Sept. 2 and Stony Brook on Sept. 4. The Dukes will also participate in the Pitt Invitational, facing Bowling Green and Air Force Sept. 9-11.

The Dukes will round out non-conference play with road contests at Pitt, West Virginia and Robert Morris and with a home match versus Buffalo.

In Atlantic 10 play the Red and Blue will host St. Bonaventure, UMass, Rhode Island, Temple and Saint Joseph's while the Dukes will travel to Saint Louis, Charlotte, Richmond and George Washington.

The season culminates with the Atlantic 10 Championship which will be played in St. Louis, Nov. 10-13.
