Duquesne University junior Joshua Patterson (Bowie, Md./Bowie) has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 23.

Patterson tallied nine points on four goals and an assist as the Dukes went 2-0 in Atlantic 10 play over the weekend. He registered his first career hat trick on Oct. 21 as the Red and Blue blanked Massachusetts, 4-0. The goals came in a 28 minute span of the second half. On Oct. 23, Patterson closed out the weekend with a goal and assist in a 5-1 victory over Rhode Island.

Patterson leads the Dukes with six goals and is second on the team in scoring with 13 points.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 28 as they host Temple at 7:00 pm.
