Men's Cross Country Places Eighth at 2010 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Duquesne's men's cross country team captured eighth place at the 2010 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional held Saturday morning at the Blue-White Golf Course on the campus of Penn State University.

The Dukes finished with 263 points in the 28-team field.

Senior Scott Van Kooten paced the Dukes with a 33rd place finish in the 194-runner field crossing in 31:16. He was followed by Mark Bucklaw in 47th with a time of 31:39, Mike Stolar finished 53rd in 31:46 and Erik Anderson who placed 61st with a time of 31:55

Cam Stauffer was 70th for 69 points with a time of 32:05. Kyle Dorman was 98th for 97 points finishing in 32:48. Jim Spisak was 140th overall for 136 points with a time of 33:50.
