Duquesne University sophomore Jim Spisak (Johnstown, Pa./Bishop McCort) has been named to the six-man Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office.

A secondary education - social studies major, Spisak collects his first Academic All-Conference honor in his first year of eligibility. A 2010 All-Conference selection, he finished 10th of 144 runners at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a time of 24:54, helping the Dukes to a second place showing. Spisak was the lone sophomore among five seniors named to the academic team.

The Dukes wrap up the season on Saturday, Nov. 13 as they compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State.
