After tallying two ties last week and moving to 4-3-2 on the season, the Duquesne University men's soccer team has climbed to a season-high fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Oct. 5 rankings. The Red and Blue are listed ahead of fellow Atlantic 10 members Fordham (7th), Dayton (9th) and Xavier (10th).

The Dukes played to a scoreless draw with visiting 21st-ranked West Virginia on Sept. 29 and played to a 1-1 tie at Buffalo on Oct. 3.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 8 as they host Saint Louis at 7:00 p.m. on Rooney Field in both teams Atlantic 10 openers. The Billikens are 2-3-2 this season.
