Duquesne University sophomore Tyler Tompkins (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 27.

Tompkins recorded three goals and an assist last week as the Dukes went 2-0. He scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Robert Morris on Sept. 23 and tallied two goals and an assist in a 5-0 blanking of Buffalo on Sept. 27. He now leads the Dukes in scoring with seven points.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 2 as they host Canisius at 7:00 pm.
