Fourth-year coach Jake Ouimet announced today the 2009 Duquesne University men's soccer schedule. The Dukes will play 18 regular season contests with 10 of those matches coming at home, including the season opener versus Niagara on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

The Dukes will then travel to games at Michigan State and St. Francis (Pa.) before hosting the Duquesne Invitational, Sept. 11-12. The Red and Blue will face Manhattan and Bowling Green with Richmond also participating.

DU will then travel to national powerhouse Maryland on Sept. 15, then face Robert Morris on their home field prior to wrapping up the non-conference slate with home matches versus Buffalo and Canisius.

The Red and Blue will then play their first four Atlantic 10 contests at home beginning on Oct. 9 against La Salle and will wrap up the regular season at home versus St. Bonaventure on Nov. 7. Other home A-10 foes include Fordham, Xavier and Dayton while road trips will be made to Saint Joseph's, Temple, UMass and Rhode Island.

The 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship will be held Nov. 12-15 at Rhode Island.
