Results
On a bitter cold day with wind chills in the low teens, the Duquesne men's cross country team captured second place at the 100th IC4A XC Meet held at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City.
Senior Josh Eddy finished his illustrious XC career at DU by becoming the first DU athlete to win the IC4A XC Meet with an impressive time of 25:11. Fellow seniors Derek Dutille and Shane Sarver finished 4th and 12th respectively. Sophomores Scott VanKooten (30th) and Mike Stolar (40th) rounded out the top five for DU.
The seniors finished their careers at DU in great fashion. They have been a part of an A10 Conference XC Team Championship, two A10 XC runners-up teams, four top-10 Mid-Atlantic Region finishes, three Paul Short Invitational finshes in the top 10 (and an 11th place finish at Paul Short) and now a 2nd place IC4A finish.
