Duquesne University senior midfielder Travis MacKenzie (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) has been named to the College Soccer News Pre-Season All-America Third Team while freshman Stefan Lundberg (Lower Burrell, Pa./Kiski Area) has been identified by College Soccer News as one of 100 Freshmen to Keep an Eye On. It marks the first time Duquesne has had a pre-season All-American.

MacKenzie, an NSCAA All-Region choice in 2005 and 2006, was named to the Atlantic 10 Pre-Season All-Conference team for the second straight year this season. He led the Dukes last year with 20 points on six goals and eight assists.

Lundberg was recently named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Rookie team. In high school, he was named an NSCAA All-American after leading the WPIAL with 36 goals in 2006.

The Dukes open the season on Friday, August 31 at Robert Morris.
