Duquesne University senior Tom Sochacki (Pittsburgh, PA/Shady Side Academy) has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the week ending Oct. 15.

Sochacki scored two goals in Sunday's 3-2, overtime win over Xavier, including the short-handed game-winner in overtime and also scored the first goal in Friday's 2-1 win over Dayton. He fired seven shots over the weekend, six of which were on goal for an .857 percentage.

Sochacki, who had four career goals entering the weekend, is now second on the team in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11).

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 20 as they travel to Temple for a 3:00 pm contest.
