The Duquesne University men's soccer team is ranked third in the region in the initial National Soccer Coaches Association of America's NSCAA/adidas Middle Atlantic rankings. It is the highest the Dukes have ever been ranked in the opening season release. Duquesne trails just Farleigh Dickinson and Seton Hall which are slated 12th and 19th respectively in the NSCAA national rankings.

The Dukes, who are coming off a 2-0 blanking of visiting St. Bonaventure in their season opener, take to the road this weekend as they participate in the St. Bonaventure Classic. The Red and Blue face Binghamton (ranked second in New York region) on Saturday, Sept. 10 at noon and Western Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 11 at noon.
