Duquesne University men's soccer players sophomore Travis MacKenzie (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) and senior Steve Mellor (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) have been named to 2005 Mid-Atlantic All-Region Teams as announced by the NSCAA/adidas All-America Committee. MacKenzie was a second team honoree while Mellor was a third team choice.

MacKenzie and Mellor tied for the team-lead in scoring with 13 points each. MacKenzie tallied a team-best five goals, including a team-high four game-winners with three assists while Mellor scored four goals and led the Dukes with five assists.

The Dukes won their third straight Atlantic 10 regular season title this year and finished the season with a record of 13-5-0.
