Duquesne University's men's cross country team climbed to an all-time best ranking of fourth in the Mid-Atlantic region in the Nov. 1 United States Cross Country Coaches Association poll. The Dukes also received a vote in the national poll for the first time ever.

The Dukes, who were ranked 13th in the pre-season poll, have climbed at least one notch in each of the five subsequent rankings before reaching a new Duquesne all-time high ranking this week following their Championship performance at the Atlantic 10 Championship. DU was ranked fifth in the previous poll dated Oct. 17.

The Red and Blue will take this weekend off to prepare for the NCAA Regional Championship held Saturday, Nov. 12 in Bethlehem, Pa.
