Duquesne University men's soccer player senior Derek MacKenzie (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) has been named to the 2004 All Middle Atlantic Region First Team as announced by the NSCAA/adidas All-America Committee. MacKensie was a second team selectee last season.

MacKenzie led the Dukes in scoring this season with 16 points on five goals and six assists. An Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference selection, he also led the Dukes with three game-winning goals and finished his career as the University's all-time assist leader with 28 and is third all-time with 50 career points.

The Dukes won their second straight Atlantic 10 regular season title this year and finished the season with a record of 13-6-1.
