South Bend, Ind. - Duquesne University's men's cross country team finished fifth among 26 teams at the 49th Annual Notre Dame Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Burke Memorial Golf Course.

Senior Ryan Bender (Indiana, PA / Indiana) again led the Red and Blue with a time of 25:12 which was good for 16th place. Classmates Steve Moyer (Allentown, PA / Emmaus) finished in 20th place with a time of 25:20 and Pat McGuire's (Greensburg, PA / Hempfield) mark of 25:25 was good for 26th among the 216 runners.

The Dukes are off until Saturday, October 16th when they will compete in the Penn State National Open.
