The men's soccer team remained ninth in the NSCAA/adidas Middle Atlantic regional rankings as released on Sept. 9. The Dukes debuted at number nine on Sept. 2 and remained there despite winning the Diadora Classic at Bowling Green.

Duquesne trails Rutgers, Penn State, Pitt, Seton Hall, Princeton, Drexel, Farleigh Dickinson and Bucknell and are listed ahead of Atlantic 10 foe St. Joseph's.
