Duquesne University head soccer coach Wade Jean has signed two players to National Letters of Intent for the 2002 season. Joining the Dukes are midfielder James Dillon (Longhorne, PA/Holy Ghost Prep) and goalkeeper Zachary Varga (Mountville, PA/Hempfield).

Dillon comes to Duquesne as a four-year letterman and three-year starter for his four-time league champion and 2001 State District championship high school team. A team captain his senior year, he was named the league's Most Valuable Player. Dillon was also a four-year Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program participant.

Varga was a Second team All-League selection for the 1999 and 2001 league champions. Also a four-time letterman, his team won the District 3 championship in 1999.
