- The Dukes trailed by three in the third quarter but rallied to tie the game at 10 with 4:48 remaining. RMU scored the game-winner less than a minute later, and DU was unable to capitalize on several late chances, including two shots in the final 10 seconds.
- Mackenzie Leszczynski scored five goals and had two assists for a seven-point outing.
- Emily King and Chelsea Evans scored twice and Gracin Emerson added one goal ... Evans also had a career-high five caused turnovers.

- Youngstown State enters 1-1 in 2025, fresh off the first win under second-year head coach Rob Harris.
- The Penguins pulled away from Saint Francis on Sunday with a 10-2 second half for a 19-10 victory.
- The win was YSU's first since Apr. 22, 2023 (20-8 over Detroit Mercy) after an 0-16 season a year ago.

- Mackenzie Leszczynski is second in the A-10 in points per game (5.0), free position goals per game (1.5), and free position percentage (75%), while ranking third in goals per game (3.5).
