The quintet combined for 73 of the Dukes 102 points while collecting an impressive 40 of Duquesne's 69 rebounds.

Scouting The Colonials – A member of the Horizon League (HL), Robert Morris is led by second-year head coach Chandler McCabe, who guided the Colonials to a turnaround season last year with a 15-16 overall record and a 10-10 mark in conference play. McCabe has RMU off to a strong start again, opening the year 3-0 for the first time since the 2022-23 campaign after a 71-61 win at Saint Francis on Thursday night. In that victory, Eva Levingston posted a career-high 18 points, while Myriam Traore followed with 15 points and five rebounds. Aislin Malcolm added 11 points, and Bailey Kuhns contributed 10, giving the Colonials four double-digit scorers. Malcolm leads the team on the season, averaging 19 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 40 percent from the field. Both Noa Givon and Levingston are averaging 11.3 points, with Levingston also pacing the team at 7.0 rebounds per contest. Traore rounds out the top performers with 11 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game.
West Liberty Remains - For the fourth straight game, the Dukes capitalized on their size advantage, dominating the glass with 69 rebounds, tying the most in the
Dan Burt era. Duquesne came just two shy of the program record of 71 and pulled down an astounding 30 offensive boards. The Dukes outrebounded West Liberty 69-27 (+42), marking both the largest rebound margin in program history and under Burt's leadership. Freshman
Harriet Ford led the effort with 11 rebounds, including a team-high nine on the offensive glass. Duquesne converted those opportunities into 16 second-chance points in the second half, fueling their strongest offensive stretch of the night. The Dukes blew the game open in the fourth quarter with a 15-0 run, surging to a 92-64 advantage. Sophomore
Faith Walker sparked the burst with a pull-up jumper, followed by back-to-back layups from Zecevic. Redshirt sophomore
Gabby Grantham-Medley added a bucket, Blackford finished at the rim, and Zecevic capped the sequence with five straight points. Duquesne shot a blistering 61.9 percent (13-of-21) in the final frame while hauling in 20 rebounds, seven of which came on the offensive end.
Snag That – Duquesne has wasted no time establishing its dominance on the glass, using its size to control both the defensive and offensive boards. The Dukes are pulling down an impressive 53.5 rebounds per game, the third-highest mark in NCAA Division I. Even more notable is their work on the offensive end, where they're securing 23.5 second-chance opportunities per contest, also third nationally. Four Dukes are averaging more than five rebounds per game, led by sophomore
Harriet Ford, who is grabbing 9.0 boards overall and an eye-catching 7.5 on the offensive end. Ford is coming off a season-best 11 rebounds against Saint Francis. Redshirt sophomore
Gabby Grantham-Medley ranks second on the team at 6.3 per game, she opened the season with her first career double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds) against Saint Francis and came just one rebound shy of another with nine against West Liberty. Junior
Dunja Zecevic and sophomore
Maja Rohkohl complete the quartet, each averaging 5.8 rebounds per contest. Across its first four games, Duquesne is boasting a +22.5-rebounding margin, fifth-best in Division I.
Global Game Changer – Junior
Dunja Zecevic has quickly established herself as a key piece of Duquesne's rotation, emerging as one of six Dukes averaging double figures. She ranks third on the team with 14.3 points per game while also contributing 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals. The Serbia native recorded her first career double-double in Duquesne's dominant 102-73 win over West Liberty, posting a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds on an efficient 9-of-15 shooting performance. Zecevic has scored in double figures in all four games this season, and in her Duquesne debut (Nov. 3), she delivered 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting with five rebounds, one block, and one steal. The versatile guard/forward has also tallied at least one steal in every game so far, ranking sixth on the team in the category.
Did You Know? - The Dukes enter Tuesday's contest at Robert Morris having made at least one three-pointer in 431 consecutive games, a streak spanning 14 years. The last time Duquesne failed to connect from beyond the arc was on December 21, 2011, when the Dukes went 0-for-19 from long range against Florida in the championship game of the Gator Holiday Classic. Just last season, the NCAA Division I women's record for consecutive games with a made three-pointer was broken. Iowa State had previously held the mark with an astounding 945-game streak dating back to February 19, 1995, when the Cyclones competed in the Big Eight Conference. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga now owns the longest active streak in Division I women's basketball, with 811 straight games featuring a made three-pointer.
Plug-&-Play – Duquesne has received contributions from all over its lineup through the first four games, with several newcomers making an immediate impact. Freshman guard
Alexis Bordas is quickly making a name for herself on the Bluff, leading the team with 15.5 points per game while adding 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and shooting 36.7 percent from three. She has scored in double figures in every game so far, most recently posting 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in the win over West Liberty. The West Virginia native also delivered a season-high 24 points, featuring five three-pointers, along with four rebounds and three steals in Duquesne's first road game at Western Michigan (Nov. 9). Sophomore forward
Harriet Ford has been equally impressive in the frontcourt, turning in strong performances in each of her last two outings. In her Duquesne debut at Western Michigan, she tallied 15 points on 50.0 percent shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. The Australia native followed that with her fifth career double-double, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds against West Liberty. Ford sits fourth on the team in scoring at 12.5 points per game and leads the Dukes with 9.0 rebounds per contest.
