- The Dukes are looking to snap a two-game slide in Atlantic 10 action Wednesday against the Rams, as in their last game in conference play Saint Joseph's (9/27) earned a 2-0 win.

- Redshirt senior goalkeeper Diego Chavez and freshman midfielder Hákon Dagur Matthíasson were each honored with weekly accolades from the Atlantic 10 after their roles in a 1-0 victory at Syracuse (9/5). Chavez, who made a season-high nine saves in the win over the Orange, was selected the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week (9/8), while Matthíasson, who scored the lone goal in the triumph, was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week (9/8).

- The Dukes are led by head coach Chase Brooks, who is in his 13th season leading the program in 2025. - Duquesne established a new program record last season with 11 consecutive wins at Rooney Field as well as its eight victories at home in 2024. Despite a 1-0 loss to No. 7 Saint Louis (9/20), the Dukes own a mark of 30-5-6 (.805) at Rooney Field since the beginning of the 2021 campaign.

- A trip to the Bronx, N.Y., awaits after Duquesne takes on Rhode Island Wednesday, as the Dukes will visit Fordham Saturday, Oct. 11, for a 5:00 p.m. match.

So Fresh, So Clean – Duquesne has received production from up and down its lineup throughout the course of the 2025 campaign. Of the seven players that have scored a goal for the Dukes this year, four have collected their first NCAA Division I strike. The list grew in a 3-1 win over St. Bonaventure (9/14), with redshirt junior Ashwin Menon and sophomore midfielder Miles Imparato each connecting for their first career NCAA goals in the victory, with Menon's standing as the game winner. In all, a total of 15 different players have registered on the scoresheet this season.

The Helper – While seven different Dukes have scored a goal so far this season, senior midfielder Grant McIntosh has been in the middle of the attack. He leads Duquesne in assists with three, including a secondary assist in the first goal of the match in a 3-1 victory over St. Bonaventure (9/14) that opened a three-game homestand at Rooney Field. McIntosh has appeared in 42 career games on the Bluff, including 41 starts, and has tallied six career assists. Through 10 matches this season, a total of 13 Dukes have posted an assist, including six that have registered two or more.

Instant Impact – In addition to collecting the first goal of the 2025 season for Duquesne, freshman midfielder Hákon Dagur Matthíasson set up the second goal of the contest in a 3-0 win over Seton Hill (8/21) at Rooney Field. He fed redshirt junior Jaxon Ervin, who sliced one into the net at 27:21 to give the Dukes a 2-0 cushion. Ervin is Duquesne's active career points leader with 22 points thanks to seven goals and eight assists, and the Dukes are a perfect 7-0 when he scores in a game since the beginning of the 2024 campaign.

Power Pack – Duquesne's 1-0 win at Syracuse (9/5) helped the Dukes improve to 3-1-1 (.700) against teams from a power conference over the last four years. In 2022, Duquesne opened its season with a 1-0 victory at Michigan (8/25/22) out of the Big Ten. The following year as part of Fairfield Inn by Marriott Invitational, which was hosted by James Madison, the Dukes earned a 5-1 triumph over Virginia Tech (8/27/23) out of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Last season, Duquesne finished with a 1-1 tie at No. 23 Notre Dame (9/10/24), also out of the ACC, before its road win against the Orange.
