ASHLAND, Ohio – Duquesne University's indoor track & field team claimed 11 top-three finishes, including three winners, while
Nadia Constantakis set a program record in the pole vault at the Ashland Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.

Among Duquesne's top finishers were
Hannah Seitzinger and
Mara Whalen. Both Seitzinger and Whalen were on the 4x400m relay team which finished second, alongside
Amy Allen and
Cydney Blahovec. Seitzinger also finished first in the 800m, crossing the line nearly eight seconds ahead of second place with a 2:09.89, while Whalen won the 1200m with a 3:42.59. Whalen edged out teammate
Morgan Roemer, who finished 0.03 seconds behind in second with a 3:42.62 in the 1200m. Roemer also set a personal-best time (2:19.83) in the 800m en route to a fourth-place finish. Allen added a runner-up performance in the 400m race with a 56.45.
Freshman
Nadia Constantakis set a program record with her fourth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing a mark of 3.55 meters (11-7.75). Constantakis cleared 3.25, 3.40, and 3.55 meters on consecutive attempts. She recorded a mark of 3.50 meters in her first collegiate meet back in December, which was second in program history — just 0.01 meters short of the previous program record set by Sarah Fetterman in 2005.

Caroline Garbe finished second in the high jump with a 1.70-meter (5-7) mark. Freshmen
Rose Kuchera (11.63m / 38-2) and
Lauren Stroka (11.30m / 37-1) placed first and second, respectively, in the triple jump, with Stroka recording an early career best. Sophomore
Madelyn Moretti took second in the shot put with a distance of 14.07 meters (46-2).
Senior
Alyssa Willis charted a fourth-place finish in the 200m (25.31) and crossed in sixth place of the 60m with a 7.77.
PR HIGHLIGHTS
Several Dukes set personal records in Ashland, headed by sophomore
Anna Rorrer who finished second in the 60m hurdles, recording a personal-record time of 8.90 seconds.
Eva Leatherman placed third in the 300 meters with a PR time of 41.74 and also set a personal record in the 60-meter hurdles.
Capri DeCaro recorded a personal-best 5.19-meter mark in the long jump. Sophomore
Reagan Ryen set a personal record in the 800m with her 2:23.36 time. Senior
Haley Hamilton finished fourth in the mile, setting a career-best time of 5:03.00. Junior
Gina Bolla's third-place finish in the 3000m was a career-best 10:07.36. Juniors
Ryley Schwalm (10:18.15) and
Maggie Danzer (10:45.91) each recorded personal records in the 3000m.

Duquesne will compete in the Penn State National Open in University Park, Pa. on January 31.
