PITTSBURGH – Head coach Jerry Schmitt has announced the signings of 22 to the Duquesne University football program, as part of National Signing Day on Wednesday.
"The Duquesne football staff, players and campus community are looking forward to welcoming this class of recruits," said Schmitt. "It is a group of talented athletes that we are excited to add to the winning tradition and strive toward a level of high academic achievement."
The signing class includes 16 incoming freshmen from six different states and six mid-year transfers.
"I personally want to thank our coaches, support staff and the accommodating members of our campus for the time they devoted to the recruiting process. It is a testament to their dedication and the spirit of our campus community supporting why Duquesne University is a special place," added Schmitt.
