Bridgewater, N.J. – Senior linebacker
Luke Miller earned NEC Prime Performer recognition for the second consecutive week after a career day in Duquesne's
14-7 win at Stonehill.
Miller tied his career high with a game-high 14 tackles and recorded a career-best 2.0 tackles for loss while adding half a sack for the first sack of his career.
Leading the Dukes with 47 tackles this season, Miller ranks sixth in the NEC in tackles per game. His 14 tackles at Stonehill were the third-most by an NEC defender in a conference game this season, and he now has three double-digit tackle outings this year.
The Duquesne defense held Stonehill to 2-of-13 on third downs and recorded two fourth-down stops in the second half, both inside the Duquesne 30-yard line. The Dukes also totaled eight tackles for loss and two sacks in the conference victory.
