Interview FAQ & Guidelines

Pregame / Week of Game:
Duquesne Football does not regularly conduct a scheduled weekly press conference. Media members interested in receiving notifications regarding any scheduled press conferences may contact Jacob Davey at daveyj@duq.edu to be added to the distribution list.

Coach Schmitt participates in a weekly coach’s show on SportsNet Pittsburgh. Recordings of the program will be available each Thursday through this media center webpage.

Media outlets seeking interviews with Coach Schmitt, Duquesne student-athletes, or other coaches during the week of a game should contact Jacob Davey at daveyj@duq.edu to coordinate interview opportunities.

Postgame:
Following all home contests, Coach Schmitt and select student-athletes will be available for postgame press conferences in the Spiritan Campus Ministry Room in the Keller Fieldhouse.

For road contests, Coach Schmitt and select student-athletes will be available for postgame media sessions. The location of these sessions will be communicated to media members in attendance. When possible, a Zoom link will be provided to credentialed media members wishing to participate virtually.

Media members interested in participating virtually should contact Jacob Davey at daveyj@duq.edu prior to halftime of the game to request access.

Recordings of all postgame press conferences will be available through this media center.
