PITTSBURGH - The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced the schedule pairings for the 2023-24 women's basketball season. Duquesne will have an even split of nine home and nine away contests during conference action next winter, up from 16 A-10 games last season.

The Dukes will compete in a home-and-home series against St. Bonaventure, George Washington, Richmond, and Saint Joseph's. The series with Bonnies extends to its 10th straight season as a home-and-home. Last season, DU played just two home-and-home series.

Duquesne will take on GW twice in the regular season for the first time since 2019-20. Saint Joseph's and the Dukes last battled twice in 2020-21 and the Richmond home-and-home series was last played in 2021-22.

The Dukes will also welcome Rhode Island, Fordham, George Mason, La Salle, and Loyola Chicago inside the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse for one-game stints. The conference slate rounds out with roadtrips to Davidson, Dayton, VCU, Massachusetts, and Saint Louis.

Head coach Dan Burt will enter his 11th season at the helm of the program. DU has a strong returning core from its 2021-22 squad that went 19-12 and bowed out of the A-10 Tournament in the second round on a last-second bucket. Coach Burt bolstered the roster with three talented transfers announced last month.

The complete 2022-23 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date.

The Atlantic 10 unveiled a partnership with the Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority earlier this summer to bring the A-10 Women's Basketball Championships to the new, 3,500-seat Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va. for at least the next two seasons.
