FAIRFAX, Va. –
Ryan Ellison qualified for the finals of the 110m hurdles, as two Dukes competed on day one of the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships on Saturday at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va.
Ellison, the Duquesne school record holder, ran a 14.57 in third place of the first heat and was sixth overall, earning a spot in the eight-man 110m hurdles final at 11:40 am tomorrow.
Anthony Litrenta came in 12
th place in the 5000m race with a personal-best 14:32.20, beating his previous PR by more than 10 seconds.
Jack Barnhisel charted a 3:57.09 in 43
rd place of the 1500m, while
Zack Toth crossed just over a second later in 47
th.
The final day of competition begins tomorrow at 10:30 am. Duquesne will be in action starting at 11:40 am.
