PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne University track and field program has set its 2023-24 meet schedule for the upcoming indoor and outdoor seasons.

The Dukes will compete in seven indoor meets leading up to the Atlantic 10 Championships on Feb. 23-24 and ECAC/IC4A Championships on Mar. 1-3. The season begins on December 1 at Youngstown State, the first of three indoor meets at YSU.

After the opener, Duquesne has a layoff over the holiday break and returns to action on January 13 at the Kent State Open. The following weekend, it's back to Youngstown for the YSU College Invitational. Then, over the weekend of January 26-27 the Dukes will feature a split squad at Penn State Nationals and the YSU Mid-Major. The Akron Invitational (Feb. 3) and Spire Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 10) round out the regular season.

The A-10 Indoor Championships will be held in Virginia Beach, Va. and the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships the following weekend will be in Boston, Mass.

Just a couple of weeks later, the outdoor season commences at the end of March (28-30) at North Carolina State for the Raleigh Relays. Duquesne will also have runners stay close to home to begin the 2024 outdoor season at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on March 28 and 30.

The Dukes outdoor schedule includes trips to George Mason (April 5-6), Bucknell (April 13-14), and Ohio State (April 19-20) during the month of April. The annual Penn Relays are slated for the last weekend in April, while DU will also send competitors to the Father Bede Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis that Saturday.

The Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships are slated for May 4-5 in Fairfax, Va., then the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships are May 10-12 at a site to be determined.

Duquesne sponsors women's track and field only for the indoor season, while both the men's and women's teams compete during outdoor season.
