PITTSBURGH - Duquesne (6-0-2, 1-0-1), off to one of the best starts in program history, moved up one spot to No. 24 in the latest
United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll released today.
DU, which set a new school record for most games without a loss to open a season with its 0-0 draw at UMass on Saturday, travels to Ohio to face No. 25 Akron (4-2-2) on Wednesday night.
It will be the first time a Duquesne team will play a ranked team while holding a national ranking itself.
DU, which is also ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches
Southeast Region Poll, entered the national poll for the first time since 2005 on Sept. 20.
