ORLANDO, Fla. - The Duquesne women's tennis team enters postseason play this week at the Atlantic 10 Championships held at the USTA National Campus from April 27-30.

The Dukes (11-9, 3-2 A-10) earned the No. 9 seed in the tournament and will take on No. 8 seed Richmond in the first round at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27.

Margot Pessy posted an 8-6 record in dual play this spring at the No. 1 singles position and has a 6-4 record in her last 10 matches.

Daniela Latoni finished with the most wins in singles play amongst the Dukes. She went 13-5 overall, including a combined 9-2 record when playing at either the No. 2 or No. 3 singles position.

In doubles competition, the tandem of
Priyanka Mitta and
Meredith Lee went a combined 10-7 overall. The duo was 7-1 at No. 2 doubles this season.

Ellen Shanahan and
Ana Utrilla Benito teamed up to go 7-5 in doubles play, including a perfect 3-0 mark in conference play as a team.

The winning side will draw top-seeded VCU in the A-10 Championship Quarterfinals on Thursday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m.
