Alexandra O'Brien followed with a 6-4 victory.
Jasa Roka and
Denisse Arinez Guilarte completed the sweep with a 6-2 result, giving the Dukes early momentum.

The clincher came from O'Brien, who battled through a tight three-set match, dropping a second-set tiebreak before responding decisively in the third to win 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2.
With the match decided, three singles contests went unfinished, but Duquesne held competitive positions in each, underscoring the team's depth.
