Dukes' 43 wins all-time against the Bonnies is the most against a single opponent

The Dukes will look to build off of their highest single-game scoring output when they travel to western New York to take on the Bonnies Sunday afternoon.

THE SERIES - vs. ST. BONAVENTURE
  • The Bonnies are the second most-common opponent for the Dukes all time. The two teams have met 64 times and first met in 1981.
  • Duquesne's 43 wins against St. Bonaventure are the most victories against a single opponent.The Dukes had their eight-game winning streak in the series snapped last season in a 72-55 setback at the Reilly Center last season.
  • Dan Burt has earned 13 wins against the Bonnies as head coach of the Dukes - which is tied with Rhode Island for the most against a single-opponent.

LAST MEETING - Jan. 8, 2022
  • The Dukes used a huge fourth quarter effort to pull away for a 63-44 win over St. Bonaventure earlier this season.
  • Duquesne scored 17-straight and out-scored the Bonnies 23-5 in the fourth quarter.
  • Fatou Pouye led four Dukes in double figures. She paced the team with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, despite playing just 16 minutes due to foul trouble.
  • Tess Myers finished with 13, while Megan McConnell and Laia Sole added 12 and 11, respectfully.
  • The Dukes opened the game with 18-straight missed three-point shots, before Myers ended the drought in the fourth quarter on the first of three-straight treys.

SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE
  • The Bonnies are looking to end their three-game skid following double-digit losses to UMass, GW and VCU.
  • Eight of the St. Bonaventure's 12 wins have come inside the Reilly Center this season.
  • Asianae Johnson leads the team and ranks third in the A-10 with 18.0 ppg.
  • She also ranks among the top-five in the league in field-goal percentage (5th/46.1%) and free-throw percentage (5th/77.1%) and leads the A-10 with 91 free throws made.
  • I'yanna Lops is fourth in the league with 1.54 blocked shots per game.

LAST TIME OUT
  • Five players scored in double figures to lead the Dukes to an 80-68 win over Richmond Wednesday.
  • Precious Johnson registered her first-career double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Fatou Pouye posted a game-high 20 points, Tess Myers finished with 15 points, Libby Bazelak added 13 points., while Amaya Hamilton totaled 12 points.
  • It was the first game in which five Duquesne players scored in double figures since March 5, 2019 in a game against Rhode Island.
  • Megan McConnell was the only Duquesne starter to not reach double figures with six points, but she did collect 10 rebounds and dished out six assists.
  • The Dukes posted their highest single-game point total of the season, despite shooting just 4-of-20 from three-point range. The four three-point shots matched a season-low.
