The Dukes are playing in a televised game for the first time since a 79-76 win over VCU on Feb. 2, 2020. Duquesne is 37-25 overall in televised games, including wins in six of their last eight on TV.

THE SERIES - vs. MASSACHUSETTS
- The Dukes hold the all-time series lead with 29 wins in the 53 meetings between the two programs.
- The Minutewomen have held the upper hand recently, winning three of the past four games, including each of the last two.
- The past three meetings have been each been decided by four points or less.
- Duquesne has lost each of the past two contests at the Mullens Center.

LAST MEETING - Jan. 4, 2020
- The Dukes fell short in their comeback bid in an 81-77 loss to UMass at La Roche University's Kerr Fitness Center in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.
- Duquesne trailed by 18 points heading into the fourth quarter and went on to out-score the Minutewomen 26-12 over the final 10 minutes.
- Duquesne began the fourth quarter on a pivotal 13-0 sprint to cut the UMass lead to just five points at 69-64 in just two and a half minutes of game clock.
- UMass rebuilt its lead to as many as 11, before holding off the Dukes final push.
- Four different Dukes reached double-figures in scoring, led by Nina Aho and Libby Bazelak's 16 points.
- Laia Solé totaled 13 points, while Paige Cannon added 11 points.
- Five Minutewomen scored in double figures, led by a game-high Hailey Leidel. Sam Breen was just shy of a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.
SCOUTING UMASS
- The Minutewomen are among the top-five in the Atlantic 10 in most statistical categories.
- UMass is the highest-scoring team in the league at 71.4 ppg. and also slots third in field goal percentage (43 percent).
- The Minutewomen rank second in rebounds per game (41.5) and are third in both turnovers forced (16.17/game) and steals (8.0/game).
- UMass struggles at the free-throw line. The Minutewomen are 12th in the A-10 at just 66.4 percent from the charity stripe.
- UMass features two of the top scorers in the league in Sam Breen and Sydney Taylor.
- Breen ranks fifth in the A-10 with 16.4 ppg. also slots second with 10.8 rebounds per game.
- Taylor ranks ninth in the A-10 with 15.3 ppg. and is converting 2.39 three-point field goals per game (fourth in A-10).
- Taylor ranks fifth a 33.1 three-point field goal percentage.
- Destiney Philoxy leads the A-10 and ranks 26th in Division I with 5.4 assists per game.

- The Dukes were handed a 50-48 loss by George Washington Wednesday evening.
- Libby Bazelak was just shy of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
- Duquesne shot 14 of 59 (24 percent), including just 2-of-16 (12.5 percent) in the fourth quarter alone.

TROJANETTE TAKEOVER
- The leading scorers from both UMass and Duquesne attended the same high school.
- Minutewomen forward Sam Breen and Dukes guard Tess Myers are alumnae of North Catholic High School in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania located 20 miles north of Pittsburgh.
- The two played together for one season in 2016-17 when Breen was a senior for the Trojanettes and Myers was in her freshman season.
- The two helped North Catholic go 25-3 and win a Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Championship.
