PITTSBURGH – For the 60th time in program history, the Duquesne women's basketball team will battle A-10 foe St. Bonaventure on Thursday night at La Roche University. The Dukes (13-7, 3-4) seeks their sixth consecutive and ninth win in the last 10 matchups against the Bonnies (5-15, 2-5). Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
- The Dukes own a 39-20 overall record against its nearest Atlantic 10 conference foe. First meeting in 1981, Duquesne leads the series 23-5 when playing in the Steel City and have won seven consecutive contests against St. Bonaventure in Pittsburgh.
LAST TIME OUT
- Down by as many as 12 points, the Duquesne rallied to take a lead in the fourth quarter, but a 3-pointer in the final seconds ultimately lifted Saint Louis to a 53-50 win at Chaiftez Arena on Sunday night.
- The Dukes led the Billikens, 50-48, with eight seconds left, as SLU's Rachel Kent connected on a 3-pointer with just over a second remaining on the clock to give the Billikens a 51-50 advantage. Duquesne could not get a shot off on its next possession after advancing the ball to its offensive end on a timeout. The Billikens notched a pair of free throws with fractions of a second remaining to seal the victory.
- Amaya Hamilton led Duquesne with 14 points off the bench, including a freshman season-best four three-pointers on just six attempts. She added five rebounds and did not turn the ball over in 24-plus minutes of action.
STAT CHECK
- Libby Bazelak now ranks seventh nationally in 3-point field goal percentage. The junior has made 46.1 percent of her attempts from long range this season.
- Duquesne's high-power scoring offense ranks first in the A-10 this season, recording 70.2 points per game. Despite averaging the most points per game in the league, the balanced Dukes offense does not have a top-five scorer in the conference. Bazelak (8th, 12.8 ppg), Laia Sole (15th, 12.1 ppg) and Amanda Kalin (23rd, 10.7 ppg) lead the offense.
- Led by Bazelak's 46.1 percent clip from long distance, the Dukes lead the conference in 3-point field goal efficiency and rank 49th nationally with a team percentage of 34.9. Kiersten Elliott has made 42.1 percent of her attempts from long range this season, while Kalin has sunk 36.7 percent of chances from deep.
- The Dukes thrive on assists, averaging a league-best 16.2 assists per contests, averaging 1.71 more assists per game more than the second most team (Rhode Island). Bazelak (4th, 4.1 apg), Kalin (5th, 4.0 apg) and Nina Aho (15th, 3.2 apg) all rank in the top-15 in the conference in the category. As a team, Duquesne ranks 34th nationally in total assists (323), 38th in assists per game (16.2 apg) and 60th in assist to turnover ratio (1.04).
SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE
- Despite a 5-15 record, the Bonnies are playing its best basketball of the season, defeating Rhode Island (10-8, 3-3) 64-59 in Olean on Sunday. St. Bonaventure neared wins in its previous two games against Philly foes Saint Joseph's (61-60) and La Salle (67-61).
- The Bonnies have struggled in road contests this season, with an 0-7 record.
- Asianae Johnson leads the team with 12.4 points per game, while Emily Cabrese is the leading rebounder with 5.5 boards per contest.
- Dajah Logan also averages double-figures in scoring, as the senior posts 10.3 points per game.
- The Dukes and Bonnies will meet again the regular season finale on leap day, Feb. 29 at the UPMC Events Center on campus of Robert Morris University.
