AMHERST, Mass. - The Duquesne men's track and field team concluded the first day of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday at the UMass Track & Field Complex. Several Dukes advanced to Sunday's finals, as Duquesne sits in 10th place with five points following day one of action.
Cordon Louco began the day with a fifth-place mark in the 10,000-meter run for the Dukes with a season-best time of 30:50.24.
Casey Conboy posted an eighth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a mark of 9:24.15.
Isaac Elliott advanced to Sunday's final in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, recording the top time in the field in the 200 at 21.21 and the second-fastest mark in the 100 at 10.63.
Preston Hogue qualified for the final in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.91 for Duquesne.
The Dukes will close out the 2019 A-10 Championship tomorrow in Amherst with the action getting underway at 9:15 a.m.
