PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Duquesne men's track and field team competed in the 125th running of the history Penn Relays this past week at Franklin Field, the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States.
Isaac Elliott registered a 15th-place performance in the 100-meter dash (10.78) heats for the Dukes.
Cordon Louco placed 20th in the 10,000-meter run (31:10.89) for Duquesne.
Preston Hogue recorded a 30th-place showing in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 54.66.
Tyler Bishop posted a mark of 14.80 meters in the shot put, good for 37th.
Samuel Knee-Robinson (14:49.27) and
Hunter Wharrey (14:50.80) took part in the 5,000-meter run for the Dukes.
RED FLASH INVITATIONAL
Duquesne also participated in the Red Flash Invitational on Saturday hosted by Saint Francis U at DeGol Field in Loretto, Pa.
The Dukes tallied a pair of first-place finishes on the day.
Casey Conboy paced the 3,000-meter with a time of 8:51, while the 4x400-meter relay of
Dillon Carrington,
Kenny Baurle,
Matt Busche and
Collin Ebling bested the field in the event at 3:27.
