NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 announced on Monday afternoon that the Duquesne women's soccer team has earned the eighth seed in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championships and will face No. 1 seed Saint Louis in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, Nov. 2. at 2:00 p.m. at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
The Dukes closed the regular season with 0-0 tie with Rhode Island on Sunday, which ensured a berth into the Atlantic 10 Championships.
Fordham defeated Davidson on Monday morning, which wrapped up the A-10 regular season and finalized the seedings.
If the Dukes defeat Saint Louis, Duquesne would play the winner of No. 4 La Salle and No. 5 Dayton on Friday Nov. 8 at Hermann Stadium. The championship match will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10. at 1:00 p.m.
