Six Earn CSC Academic All-District® Accolades

Krafchick, Majka, Muir garner honor for the third time on the Bluff

Pittsburgh, Pa. – A total of six student-athletes from the Duquesne University women's soccer team were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team Tuesday. Garnering the accolade for the Dukes were seniors Lindsay Krafchick, Libby Majka and Mackenzie Muir and juniors Reagan Basehore, Paige Kuisis and Kayla Leseck.

To be honored as a CSC Academic All-District® Team member, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale and compete in 90 percent of an institution's matches or start at least 66 percent of the contests.

Krafchick, a native of Glen Mills, Pa., is a physical therapy major was maintained a 3.94 GPA, and the 2025 honor marks the third of her career. Krafchick started all 19 games for the Dukes in 2025, posting an assist. Through her career on the Bluff, Krafchick appeared in 70 matches, including 68 starts, and compiled 11 points thanks to a pair of goals and seven assists.

Also bestowed CSC Academic All-District® Team plaudits for the third time is Majka, who is working toward a master's degree in leadership and has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA. An applied mathematics major during her undergrad studies, Majka, a native of Strongsville, Ohio, posted a 3.90 cumulative GPA. In 18 games in 2025, Majka scored a goal and posted an assist on nine shots. Like Krafchick, she appeared in 70 career matches at Duquesne, including 18 starts, and finished with six points (one goal, four assists).

Muir, a native of Avon, Ohio, also collects CSC Academic All-District® Team honors for the third time in 2025. In 19 starts this season, Muir finished third for the Dukes in scoring with 13 points courtesy of six goals and an assist. Muir was a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kick and also owned a pair of game-winning goals. A physical therapy major, Muir has maintained a 3.78 cumulative GPA. Over her four years on the Bluff, Muir started 67 of her 69 matches and amassed 41 points with 14 goals and 13 assists.

Honored for the first time in 2025 with CSC Academic All-District® Team accolades are Basehore and Kuisis. Basehore, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., earned 17 starts among 18 matches played in 2025 and logged 1,429 minutes on defense. A finance major, Basehore owns a 3.74 cumulative GPA. Kuisis, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., was one of the top options off the bench for the Dukes in 2025, playing in all 19 games. She collected a pair of goals for Duquesne and as a physician assistant studies major has posted a 3.75 cumulative GPA.

Leseck earns CSC Academic All-District® Team honors for the second consecutive year. As a health sciences major, Leseck owns a 3.68 cumulative GPA. During the 2025 campaign, Leseck paced Duquesne in assists (7), a total that tied for second in the Atlantic 10, and in starting all 19 games added a goal for nine points. Over the last three seasons, Leseck, a native of Moon Township, Pa., has started 35 of her 56 career contests and has owns 14 points thanks to a pair of goals and 10 assists.

Led by Jessica Giegucz, in her first year as head coach of the Dukes in 2025, Duquesne tied a program record wins, posting an overall record of 12-5-2 (.684), including 7-3 (.700) in the Atlantic 10. The Dukes finished third in the conference standings and hosted their first A-10 Championship game since 2017, establishing program standards for goals (44) and points (113).
