Duquesne (2-4-1) plays the second of back-to-back road games when it heads to Dayton, Ohio to face undefeated Wright State (6-0-1) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25. WSU, winner of four in a row, is one of 10 Division I programs without a loss this season (thru Sept. 23). The Raiders rank tied for fourth nationally with a .929 winning percentage. Duquesne returns home to open Atlantic 10 play vs. Saint Joseph's on Sept. 29.
THE SERIES VS. WRIGHT STATE
- Wright State leads the series 3-0, including a 2-0 edge at home.
- All three matches have been decided by one goal (1-0 (OT) in 2014 at WSU, 3-2 in 2016 at WSU and 1-0 last year in Pittsburgh).
- Last year, WSU's Austin Kinsley scored in the 54th minute to give the Raiders a 1-0 win on Rooney Field.
- The Dukes and Raiders share one common opponent in Northern Kentucky. WSU defeated the Norse 2-1 in a Horizon League road game on a double-overtime goal in the 106th minute. DU fell to NKU at home, 2-1 in overtime (goal in 96th minute).
- Duquesne is 0-2 on the road and Wright State is 3-0 at home this season.

- Duquesne began the week ranked tied for first nationally in corner kicks per game (8.57, 60 in seven games). DU had 16 corners - one shy of the school record - in its 3-0 win over Detroit Mercy on Sept. 2. The Dukes have had nine or more corners in a game four times, including each of their past two matches.
- The Dukes are coming off a 2-0 defeat at Oakland on Saturday.
- Duquesne has started at least six freshmen in all seven matches this season (DU has started seven freshmen five times). Manel Busquets (Spain), Nathan Dossantos (Canada), Rob Dymond (New Zealand), Moritz Kappelsberger (Germany), Domenic Nascimben (Australia), Kendall Newman, Gylfi Stefansson (Iceland) and Eric Zech (Germany) have all started at least once. Of the eight freshmen who have started, seven are international players.

- Dymond leads the Dukes in goals (3) and fellow freshman Busquets leads the team in assists (3). Dymond, Busquets and Mehta lead the team with seven points each.
- Mehta, who entered this season with two career points, has six in his past three games.
- Dymond had a pair of goals and Mehta added a goal and two assists in the 4-1 win over Robert Morris on Sept. 19. It was DU's second multiple-goal game of the season. The other was a 3-0 win over Detroit Mercy on Sept. 2.
- DU's four goals were its most since a 5-0 win over Bloomsburg on August 27 of last season.
- DU's nine goals this season have come from five players: Rob Dymond (3), Manel Busquets (2), Noah Mehta (2), Zion Beaton (1) and Zach Hall (1).
- Junior Zach Hall (15 points, 6 goals) and senior Ian Larson (11 points, 4 goals) are DU's top current career point-getters and goal scorers.
- Hall and Dymond lead the team in shots with 16 and 15 respectively. Hall and Busquets have sent the most shots on goal with seven each.
- Mehta leads the team in career games with 52. Larson is second with 46.
