2018 Atlantic 10 Conference play starts on Thursday afternoon when Duquesne (4-3-0) visits Massachusetts (5-2-0) in Amherst. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
 
THE SERIES
UMass leads the series 13-5-1 and 7-2-1 at Rudd Field. The series dates back to Sept. 26, 1996, when the teams played an Atlantic 10 crossover match. The Dukes and the Minutewomen have each won a match sandwiched between a tie in the last three meetings.
