It will be Sunday Night Futbol on the Bluff as Duquesne (1-3) welcomes Temple (2-4) for a 7:00 p.m. match on Sunday, Sept. 16. This is the fourth of five in a row at home for the Dukes, who are looking to bounce back from a 1-0 setback to Saint Francis U on Wednesday. Admission to all Duquesne home games is free.

THE SERIES VS. TEMPLE
- This is the 19th meeting between the Dukes and former Atlantic 10 member Temple.
- Temple leads the series 9-7-2, with the two tied at 4-4 in matches on Rooney Field.
- Last year, the Owls defeated the Dukes, 4-1 in Philadelphia (Sept. 19).
- This is the first meeting in Pittsburgh since a 2-0 Duquesne A-10 win on Oct. 28, 2011. Temple left the Atlantic 10 following the 2012 season.
- Duquesne won four of the last six A-10 meetings between the two (between 2005 and 2012), with all four victories coming by shutout.

- Duquesne is 16-7-1 in nonconference home games under sixth-year head coach Chase Brooks. Duquesne is 49-22-9 all-time in nonconference home games in its 24th season as a program.
- DU is 1-2 at home in 2018 with a 2-1 overtime loss to Northern Kentucky, a 3-0 win over Detroit Mercy and a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Saint Francis U.
- Temple, which is 2-4 on the young season, has yet to score more than one goal in a game. The Owls, who are 2-3 on the road, are coming off a 2-1 overtime defeat at Princeton on Wednesday.
- The Owls have been outshot 57-50 (24-17 on goal) in their six games. Duquesne has outshot its opponent 65-54 (25-25 on goal) it its four matches.
- The Dukes, who have started at least six freshmen in all four games this season, have started seven freshmen in each of their three most-recent matches: Manel Busquets, Nathan Dossantos, Rob Dymond, Moritz Kappelsberger, Domenic Nascimben, Kendall Newman, Gylfi Stefansson and Eric Zech have all started at least once. Of the eight freshmen who have started, seven are international players.
- Busquets leads the team with four points, including a goal vs. Northern Kentucky and pair of assists vs. Detroit Mercy.
- Nascimben has started the past two games in goal for the Dukes. The Australian has recorded eight saves and surrendered just one goal in that two-game span.
- Sophomore Zion Beaton recorded his second career goal and first assist in the win over Detroit Mercy.
- Junior Zach Hall (15 points, 6 goals) and senior Ian Larson (11 points, 4 goals) are DU's top current career point-getters and goal scorers.
- Senior Noah Mehta leads the team in career games with 49. Larson is second with 43 games played.
- The Dukes have 15 first-year players on the 2018 roster including 14 freshmen and junior Pitt transfer M Alec Anselmo. Anselmo played in 30 matches with 16 starts in two seasons with the Panthers.
- Of the 15 newcomers, eight are international players: F Manel Busquets (Spain), M/F Denis Celik (Germany), D/M Nathan Dossantos (Canada), D/M Rob Dymond (New Zealand), D Moritz Kappelsberger (Germany), GK Dominic Nascimben (Australia), M/F Gylfi Stefansson (Iceland) and F Eric Zech (Germany).
