LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Duquesne men's track and field team continued its season this weekend with the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic at Christy-Mathewson Memorial Stadium on the campus of Bucknell University.

Freshman Isaac Elliott (Ambridge, Pa./Ambridge) continued his strong freshman campaign at the meet, placing first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.62 in the event. This time matches his school-record mark in the event set in Elliott's collegiate debut at the Charlotte 49er Invitational in March. This time is also second in the Atlantic 10 in the event.

Elliott along with fellow freshman Andrew George (Louisville, Ohio/St. Thomas Aquinas) as well as seniors Robert Norman (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) and David O'Such (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) paced the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 41.71. This is the fastest time for the Dukes in the event this season. In addition, Duquesne won the event last weekend at the William & Mary Colonial Relays, as well.

Junior Preston Hogue (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) earned a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.82, a season-best mark which ranks fifth in the A-10.

O'Such and senior Rico Galassi (Dickson City, Pa./Holy Cross) added fifth-place showings for the Dukes. O'Such finished fifth in the 200-meter dash (22.02) while Galassi crossed the finish line fifth in the 5000-meter run in 14:17.53, the top time in the event in the conference so far this year.

The Dukes' 4x800 meter relay team of senior Saul Kaye (Newmarket, Ontario/Sacred Heart), junior Jeff Van Kooten (Sewickley, Pa./Central Catholic), freshman Jarrett Boyd (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) and sophomore Michael Bove (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) posted a third-place performance with a time of 7:58.15 in the race.
