RESULTS
PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne men's track and field team took part in the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet on Saturday at Gesling Stadium with the Dukes claiming three first-place marks on the day.
Freshman Harvey Kane (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) paced the long jump with a mark of 6.85 meters while freshman Casey Conboy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:39.52) and senior Rico Galassi (Dickson City, Pa./Holy Cross) placed first in the 1,500-meter run (3:58.11) for Duquesne.
Athletes from Pitt, Carnegie Mellon, Case Western Reserve, Denison, Penn State Behrend and Westminster participated in the meet hosted by the Tartans.
